About the event

The "Rural Advocacy through Community Educators Project" is designed to address critical social issues and empower marginalized communities through targeted advocacy and education. This initiative, grounded in the principle of "Empowering Local Voices for Lasting Change," aims to bridge the gap between underserved populations and relevant authorities, ensuring that every community member’s voice is heard and respected.

With a total budget of $250,000, is an initiative designed to foster significant social and developmental change in Port Loko and Moyamba Districts, Sierra Leone. Spanning from November 2024 to December 2025, this project seeks to address pressing community issues by empowering Chiefdom Educators through targeted training and support.

The project will begin with a focused two-day training workshop in November 2024. This workshop is aimed at equipping Chiefdom Educators with critical skills and knowledge necessary for effective advocacy and community leadership.
